Questions & Answers

Q): With no base training, how far out should I begin training for my first marathon?

A): You should consider at least 3- 3 month sessions or 9 months. Session 1 should consist of base training with incremental adjustments to distance and rest based on your individual needs. Session 2 will add tempo workouts to your base and Session 3 will combine base, tempo, and race pace intervals based on your race goals.
